BOARD MEMBERS

Mary Ellen Freccia Nantais & Craig Nantais – Founders

Mary Ellen is Justin’s mother, founder and chairperson of The Justin W. Jennings Foundation. Mary Ellen worked as an executive assistant to the president of an international engineering and construction company. Mary Ellen also served as a community liaison on Governor Minner’s Task Force on Cancer Incidence and Mortality Rate. Her story and findings were published in 2003 as part of the overall committee report.

Mary Ellen resides in Millville, Delaware, with her husband, Craig. She is the mother of three, Adam, Danielle, and Justin and son-in-law Nathan and daughter-in-law Christine, three grandchildren, Lillian, Andrew and Louie.

Craig is the CEO of The Justin Jennings Foundation, as well as Justin’s father. After 34 years of service, Craig retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Newark, Delaware. Craig and his wife, Mary Ellen, now reside in Millville, DE.

Kathy Green – Executive Director

Kathy comes to the Justin W. Jennings Foundation with years of marketing and fundraising experience. Kathy retired from her job as Director of Development and Communication at a Pennsylvania school for children with learning disabilities. Kathy is very active in the local non-profit community and is a co-founder of Seaquels Furniture Consignment Shop.

Since 1998, Bethany Beach was a second home to Kathy and her family. In 2009, it became their permanent home. Kathy met her husband David at the University of Notre Dame-they have three children and three grandchildren. Kathy and David reside in Ocean View with their yellow lab, Scarlet.

Pam McCutcheon – Treasurer

Pam is currently an AVP/Relationship Manager with Community Bank Delaware in Rehoboth and has over 31 years in the financial industry in Sussex County. Pam and her husband, Ralph, live in Rehoboth with their two pups, Macie, a yellow lab, and Bella, a wonderful rescue. The McCutcheons moved from Pennsylvania and have lived in Delaware since 1986. Pam is very active in the community with several non-profits, local business groups, and local chambers. She truly has a passion for giving back to the community she lives in. Volunteering at the Sea Witch Festival being one of her favorite events of the year. She and Ralph have three daughters, three granddaughters, four grandsons, and six grandpuppies. Their favorite getaway is visiting their property in the mountains of West Virginia.

 

Chris Coyle – Secretary

Chris and his wife, Beth, moved to Ocean View in 2015 and have been fortunate to make many new friends and their home in this community. Chris recently retired after a 30 year career in the HVAC industry and is using this opportunity to explore his passions for art, people and the community. In 2022, Chris co-founded Bethany Golf Cart Rentals, fulfilling a dream to create a business that allows him to share his love for the Bethany Beach area with others.

In their free time, Chris and Beth enjoy golfing, traveling and exploring with their dog, Dewey.

Ernie Felici – Director

Since 1986, Ernie has been the owner of Creative Resource Group, Inc. (crgsite.com) an international advertising and marketing company, with offices in Valley Forge, PA and Fenwick Island, DE. Ernie is also co-owner of Focus Multisports (focusmultisports.com), which generates hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthwhile charities. In addition to Justin’s Beach House, Ernie has served on the Boards of the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, Sea Colony Resort, The Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation and currently the Delaware Seashore Preservation Foundation. Ernie also retains a USCG Captain’s License and is a member of the Bethany Beach and Rehoboth-Dewey Beach Chambers of Commerce and the Dewey Beach Lions Club. Ernie resides both in Fenwick Island, DE, and Lafayette Hill, PA, with his wife Maryanne. They have three children, three grandchildren and three grand doggies.

David A. White

David is the Managing Partner in the Wilmington office of McCarter & English, where he is a partner in the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group. He is skilled in the areas of alternate resolution, complex commercial litigation and toxic tort litigation. David also represents financial institutions and secured creditors in commercial loan workouts, related litigation, and bankruptcy.

David attended the University of Delaware and the Widener University Delaware Law School. Upon graduation from law school in 1986, David served a 2-year clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. From 1983-1993, David served as Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware. In 2002, David was appointed to the Delaware Superior Court as a Commissioner serving until March of 2008.

In 2008, David established McCarter & English’s annual sponsorship of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware 5K. He also volunteers at the Emmanuel Dining Room and was recently named to the Board of Directors of the Ministry of Caring Guild, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Children’s Beach House, a non-profit organization located in Lewes, Delaware.

On March 15, 2021, Dave assumed the position of Chief Disciplinary Counsel in the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (“ODC”), one of the Arms of the Delaware Supreme Court. Among other things, the ODC is responsible for screening and evaluating information relating to conduct by a lawyer and/or the practice of law in the State of Delaware and investigating the information to determine if there are grounds for discipline or other action. The ODC also makes recommendations as to the discipline or other action and prosecutes cases for disciplinary or other action before the Delaware Supreme Court, the Board on Professional Responsibility, and the Board on the Unauthorized Practice of Law.

The Board of Directors serves on a strictly voluntary basis, with no compensation.
